Adopting With Tiny Paws
Join our network of loving, safe, and temporary homes for pugs getting ready for adoption.
Your support provides medical care, supplies, food, and tender loving care for our pugs.
If you are interested in adopting a pug, we highly recommend you complete the application process and then make an appointment to do a “meet and greet” at an adoption event.
We are always in need of good foster families, volunteers, and, most importantly, forever homes. Please apply to help a pug.
Thank you for considering adoption! By completing and submitting the application, you are agreeing to our adoption process.
There is a $ 25.00 submission fee that helps us offset the cost of processing.
We rely solely on a foster network of loving, safe, and temporary homes for pugs getting ready for adoption. We do not have a shelter. Wonderful people willing to open their homes are critical to our success and directly related to the number of pugs we can save. We need more foster homes!
Our foster care manual has information on preparing for, bringing home, and caring for a foster dog to prepare him or her for a forever home.
Please print and bring with you, our Spay & Neuter agreement when picking up your pug for adoption, thanks
We cannot survive without our foster parents and other volunteers. We rely on caring people who give what time they can to help find loving homes for our rescue pugs.
Owner Surrender
It is a very hard decision to make and even harder to actually do – but sometimes things just don’t work out. We are here to help by taking care of and finding a new loving forever home for your pug – no matter what the circumstances. Or, if you have found a stray or injured pug, we will take it in and get it immediate medical care and find it a home.
Complete and submit an adoption application. There is a $ 25.00 fee. You will be contacted by a team member for a video interview to determine what dog would do best in your environment considering your home, children, adults, other pets.
After you have become an approved adopter, when you see a dog you are interested in, we will arrange a meet and greet at one of our adoption events, or another location. We suggest you follow us on Facebook, because often dogs are shown there, prior to being on the website.
Adoption Paperwork is finalized, adoption fees are paid and you take your new family member home.
If you are interested in adopting a pug, we highly recommend you complete the application process and then make an appointment to do a “meet and greet” at an adoption event.
Dog prices vary. Please inquire about the dog you are interested in adopting.
Please understand, every dog that comes to us comes with their own unique histories and needs.
Pricing may vary due to the individual dog’s needs upon arrival to us.
All adoption fees include well-care checkup, spay/neuter, vaccinations (DHPP or DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordatella) and a microchip.
Puppies are available for adoption after receiving the second in a series of puppy vaccines. All puppies are microchipped and a spay/neuter agreement will be required at the time of adoption.
If your circumstance no longer allows for you to care for your adopted TPPR dog, we will take back the dog immediately with no judgment and no questions. Also, part of our adoption contract includes that you agree to not sell, trade, or give away this animal but in turn, return it to the rescue.
We expect you to contact us immediately if you can no longer care for this animal.
Thank you for considering adopting!
Donations and adoption donations are not refundable.
