Max is a senior guy. He came in to the rescue about 2 years ago. He was in bad shape.  We fixed him up - and found him a new home. 

After a short period of time, Max began to struggle and seemed more lost than ever. Max was in a bad place mentally due to early abuse and began to lose his vision. His adoptive family could not adapt to the changes. They called us to pick him.  We did happily.

Because of this, Max, is a forever foster and will live out his life within the rescue.

Manny is a cute senior boy.  He is our most recent Forever Foster.  He has known a life of love from his person.

 

As the transition from his Mom to the rescue can sometimes be tough for seniors, and because of his special needs, we decided that in the best interest of Manny that he should stay in the home of his foster and live out his life.

 

He is 15 years of age, has back end issues, but can get around. In order to keep him clean, his foter Mom expresses his bladder several times a day.

If you are interested in getting even more involved, we have two positions open on our Board of Directors. We are currently seeking a Vet or Medical Professional and Corporate Fundraising Leader to round out our board. Fundraising

The Tiny Paws Pug Rescue Board Members will consider Tiny Paws Pug Rescue a philanthropic priority and make annual gifts that reflect that priority. So that Tiny Paws Pug Rescue can credibly solicit contributions from foundations, organizations, and individuals, Tiny Paws Pug Rescue expects to have 100 percent of Board Members make an annual contribution that is commensurate with their capacity.

 

Board terms/participation

Tiny Paws Pug Rescue Board Members will serve a three-year term to be eligible for re-appointment for one additional term. Board meetings will be held quarterly and committee meetings will be held in coordination with full board meetings.

 

Qualifications

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Tiny Paws Pug Rescue’s mission and who has a track record of board leadership. Selected Board Members will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector. His/her accomplishments will allow him/her to attract other well-qualified, high-performing Board Members.

 

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Extensive professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector 

  • A commitment to and understanding of Tiny Paws Pug Rescue beneficiaries, preferably based on experience 

  • Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals 

  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Tiny Paws Pug Rescue beneficiaries

 

Service on Tiny Paws Pug Rescue Board of Directors is without remuneration, except for administrative support, travel, and accommodation costs in relation to Board Members’ duties.
